Metal Cross Inlay
The stone is hand-carved to fit the cross.

Description:
The original thought that I had for etching and carving stone came from this idea. To "marry" metal with stone. The thought being that when the metal, while it was layed into a "craddel" in the stone, would rust and leave a "bleeding effect" in the stone, like God leaving a permenant mark on our heart. The cross is flat metal that is composed of three pieces. The three pieces of metal represent the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, which is one God that fits inside our stone heart! I have carved many different stones with the metal cross inlayed into it. I have combined the cross with Scripture on stone.

Dimensions:
This particular stone was approximately 6 inches wide and 8 inches tall. The base was approximately 4 to 6 inches thick.
