Inlaid Cedar Cross
In Scriptures, wood is symbolic of humanity. This cross expresses the humanity of Christ, while the work of the cross expresses His divinity & love for me. Like humanity, this wooden cross is not perfect in its form. But the beauty of the wood expresses the beauty of the Carpenter who came to die for me. While I worked on shaping this cross, I thought of Jesus, the Carpenter's hands working with the wood. These same hands would be nailed to a wooden cross.

Texas White Limestone. Natural texture on face of the stone. Cross is hand crafted of Texas Red Cedar which is inlaid into the stone.
